We sat down with our furniture buyers to chat about the beautiful pieces that have arrived for warmer days ahead, from fun new colours to expanding the range of current favourites.

“Spring 2024 is focused on consistent colour palettes, thoughtful textures and pieces that can be layered in with those you already have and love. It can be a fickle time of year, you still want pieces that feel cosy and take the edge off the chilly days. We all know how temperamental our seasons can be!”

When asked about colours, of course everything had been intricately planned right down to the perfect shade of matcha.

“I think we have a great colour palette this season. You’ll see some pops of colour with the Lexie Swivel in caramel, Roxby in terracotta, the Kepler coming in a mustard and Lugo being introduced in Toffee. This is balanced with softer sage green in the Micah, the neutrals in the Cora range and while we continue to have some gorgeous natural oak it’s exciting to continue to extend the Karla range in walnut.”

And when it comes to pieces that help keep everyday routines and habits in check, they’ve got you covered with thoughtful design.

“We’ve provided options to ensure people have storage in places they’ll likely need it like the new Cecil range - finally, somewhere to keep the remote out of sight but within easy reach! Plus, the Irvine Lockers are a handy product to slot in just about anywhere you need additional storage whether that's in the kitchen or the hallway.”

While we always have a ‘sink into’ chair, (or two) in the range, it’s hard to compete with the new Zachary and Rupert Armchairs.

“These two armchairs are like brothers. Each one reflects the minimalistic sling chair look that is only trending upwards. Rupert has dramatic cushioned arms, and their powder coated steel frame reflects simple style done well. They're not all looks either - when it comes to comfort, their foam and fibre fill provides cushion and support. We love that they’re a neutral for any home, but not just in the traditional sense of being the supporting act to a sofa. Place one next to a bookcase, pair up with an overhead lamp and a coffee or side table, and you’ll have made the perfect 'book nook’ to curl up for a few hours.”

The nood philosophy of quirkiness and colour is very much alive this season with vibrant pieces that add something special.

“Inject a bit of personality with pieces like the Roscoe Dining Chair. In a selection of stunning colours they add a little something special to dining. Matcha is a nice extension into the greens (not as dark as the olives) without being wishy-washy.

The vision for Roscoe is to really make them your own. They have a bit of personality, so we like to imagine people having fun mixing and matching. Pair up mustard and cream, or matcha and black, the choice really is yours – you could even do one of each!

And if you’re in the market for a table to match, they pair perfectly with the Senise Dining Table in white or black. Since these tables are ceramic, they’re low maintenance and scratch resistant providing longevity in your home.”

Now onto one of the new season sofas, Aiko, which follows an interesting curve shape that differs from other pieces in the range.

“This ‘no-fuss’ sofa moves away from hard lines and introduces curves that nods to future pieces to come (you didn’t hear that from us! 😉) We love the minimalistic feel Aiko brings, without being stiff and uncomfortable.

It isn’t just a flat grey either, since it has a gentle fleck, it expands your decor possibilities. Think deeper tones of grey or something bold and bright, like blue.

The new Spring range is proof you don’t have to reimagine your entire space to make a statement. It can be as simple as considering your needs, exploring comfort and tone and pulling in textures you love to ground your interiors and tie it all together.”
