    Gorgeous but considerably larger size than advertised

    This rug is lovely to look at and walk on. It’s got a homely feel. Little chunkier knit than I expected but that does give it charm over a flat carpet or rug. The big problem is it’s 15cm wider than advertised. I hunted for weeks to find a rug that was exactly 340cm as this would have left us with a narrow margin of 4 cm (2cm either side) once placed which is exactly what we wanted Disappointing that the rug was actually 355cm. We literally had to take our industrial scissors and removed 15cm off one side of the rug. Now we have a brand new rug with off-white fabric trim down one side, and a the other side is raw edged without trim after it’s first hair cut! It’s not the classy look we were hoping for to finish off the bedroom but by the time we lifted all the furniture and fitted the rug it I was upset when a considerable amount of rug was surplus at the end and was lapping up the wall like Aladdin’s magic flying carpet about to take off. We assumed we had measured the room incorrectly but we hadn’t. The rug simply had more to give - exactly 15cm more! So it’s a lovely rug for sure, but would be even lovelier if the size was as advertised.

    We also sincerely apologies that you felt you had no choice but to trim the rug yourself to make it fit. Had we been made aware of the issue before the rug was altered, we would have been more than happy to investigate it and, if it was found to be a one-off manufacturing issue, arrange a replacement or work with you to find another suitable resolution.

    We understand how frustrating it must have been after spending so much time finding the perfect size and going to the effort of moving furniture and fitting the rug, only to discover it was significantly larger than advertised.
