These office chairs have braking castors for safety reasons. The castors rotate only when there is weight on the seat (approximately 1.2kg required). Maximum weight capacity 110kg. Assembly required.

    Smart looking chair but be aware of the wheels

    Good looking chair and was easy to assemble. The wheels do not really work so am concerned that the floor may potentially scratch. Also, we bought it for a ten year old and he’s not heavy enough to activate the height adjustment and needs help to make it go up or down.

    Great to hear the chair looks good and was easy to put together. Just a heads‑up about the wheels: the chair has brake casters, which lock when there isn’t much weight on the seat. They’re meant to stop the chair from rolling around on its own, but it can make the wheels feel a bit stiff, especially for lighter users :)
