Welcome to 2022. The Christmas rush is over, hopefully, you've enjoyed some time relaxing with friends and family over the break. As a distraction from the back-to-work blues, it might be a good time to think about your home aspirations for the year. We've included a few of our favourite looks from our summer collection that we shot with Russells Curtains and Blinds.

Natural elegance

A neutral colour palette is one of the easiest to pull off. It creates such a calming space where you can really relax and enjoy your surroundings. We used Resene Sandcastle in the living room. The Sabine Sofa is where sophistication meets comfort. This versatile modular piece works well in rooms of all shapes and sizes. We've added colour and warmth with tonal vases, cushions and throws, and a touch of gold.

The dining room features the oak Karla Dining Table with beautiful, curved detailing on the leg, this is paired with the oak retro-inspired Brighton Dining Chairs. The warm tones of the caramel rug help tie it all together, this 100% wool pile rug is luxuriously soft and cozy underfoot.

Both rooms feature Sienna by Russells in Sand, a lightweight sheer from their Eco Range of recycled fabrics.

Bedroom retreat

Bedrooms should be a place of sanctuary. The moss Suri Duvet Set is the perfect foundation to create a cozy bedroom haven. Layer with throws and cushions for texture and additional comfort. Add finishing touches like an occasional chair and statement mirror.

Featuring Timber venetian – Artic by Russells and Resene Quarter Bison Hide

Rounding off the look

Adding curves to the room help soften the space, making it more inviting. The Odin Sofabed is a real statement piece providing a contemporary look with the versatility of offering extra space for guests to sleep.

Wall colour is Resene Rickshaw and the curtain is Heritage by Russells in Pearl.
